„Cycling Across Mongolia“ – is a documentary adventure film about six people cycling in the country, which has lowest population density on Earth. This country is immense and lies firmy within the top 20 biggest countries of the wolrd, by land mass, however, it only has 3 million people living in it. Cyclists had days, within this vast country, when they met noone. They arrived in the first town only on the third week of the trip. Cell connection?.. What cell connection?..

The journey, which took place back in 2016, had not only physical challenges, but mental as well. Although Mongolia is a jaw-dropping country where the steppe and the deserts meet the Altay mountains and glaciers it is also pretty severe. Every day brought with it freezing cold mountain winds, as well as ice cold river crossings. All of that, while still having to contend with treacherous mountain passes. The journey was not made any easier by variuos conflicts within the team, which sometimes led to spite.

Even with all that, the film tries to stay possitive, allowing the viewers to journey through one of the most amazing Asian country, without leaving the comfort of their home. This is the fith movie by Spikis Films.
